Come and try your hand at the ancient craft of blacksmithing. 
  On this course you will heat metal to nearly a thousand degrees on a charcoal powered forge, then starting with the simple project of an s-hook learn the knack of controlling hammer on anvil before moving onto use this knowledge to forge a beautiful coat hook.
  After this the world is your oyster, maybe a bottle opener or a toasting fork before cooling down the hearth and heading home with your blacksmithed items.
 
There may be as many as 6 people on this course.
 
This course is taught outside under canvas.
 
A lunch of soup and bread is provided.
