Make a wooden eating bowl in the way the vikings did it.
  On this one day course you will turn at least one bowl on a foot powered lathe. If it is your first bowl you will be shown how to rough out a bowl from a log, shape both the inside and outside on the lathe and then finish off the last little bits with a hook knife.
  Matt has been turning in this style for 15 years, so if this is your first bowl, rest assured, he will explain everything.
  If you are looking to improve your bowl turning, maybe you have alraedy turned a few bowls, then Matt can take you through the whole process and give you the little tips you need to up your game.
 
There may be as many as 6 people on this course.
 
This course is taught outside under canvas.
 
A lunch of soup and bread is provided.
